Set Up Single Sign-On (SSO)

Enable secure and centralized login to Authorium using your organization's identity provider.

When to Set Up SSO

You should work with your IT team to set up SSO when:

  • You want to enable centralized identity access for your Authorium users.
  • You're using identity providers like Entra ID, Okta, or Google SSO.
  • You need to reduce login friction and enforce stronger security policies.
SSO credentials expire

SSO access keys expire periodically, often every 6 to 12 months, depending on your provider. If your entire team suddenly loses access, ask IT to verify if the SSO credentials need to be updated.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following details from your IT team:

  • Identity Provider: Entra ID, Okta, or Google SSO
  • Authentication Protocol: OAuth 2 or SAML
  • Client ID
  • Tenant ID
  • Secret Key, including its expiration date

To Set Up SSO

  1. From the Dashboard, go to the three-dots menu in the main navigation bar next to the logo.

  2. Select Internal Authentication.

  4. Enter the credentials provided by your IT team:
    • Identity Provider
    • Authentication Protocol
    • Client ID
    • Tenant ID
    • Secret Key (with expiration date)
  5. You can also configure the following optional settings:
    • Require User Re-authentication: Ask users to re-authenticate after the first SSO login.
    • Session Inactivity Duration: Set how long a session remains active without activity.
  6. Click Save and Apply Authentication.
    Save

Best Practices

  • Confirm with IT if your access key has an expiration policy, and set calendar reminders to rotate it in advance.
  • If login issues arise organization-wide, suspect an expired key first.
  • Store a copy of integration details securely in your IT documentation.
