Edit Approval Steps
This guide explains how to make changes to an approval workflow after it’s been added to a project.
When to Edit an Approval Workflow in a Project
You should edit the workflow when:
- The approval process requires modification for the specific project.
- Users or documents need to be adjusted per step.
- You want to change step names, behavior, or sequence directly in the project.
To Edit Approval Workflow in a Project
- From the workflow stage, click the Edit Approval Workflow link.
- On the approval workflow page, find the step you want to edit.
- Click the kebab menu to the right of the step name.
- Choose from the following options:
- Manage Step Details: Allows you to adjust step name, description, approval step type, and approval method.
- Manage Approvers and Content: Allows you to update team members for the approval step, email settings, and content included for approval.
- Make a Copy: Make a duplicate of the current step.
- Remove: Delete the step from the workflow.
